Recent data from the Hospital Service and the Kosovo University Clinic show that the drug supply at this service is over 70 per cent. There is also an improvement in the supply of extenuating and cytostatic material, which is finally being purchased by the MSH at extremely lower prices than in the past.
The process of continued and sustainable improvement with drugs is continuing, and it also ensures the recent connection of many new contracts on the part of the Health Insurance Fund for the needs of public health institutions.
The Ministry of Health, in addition to providing new supplies at convenient prices and cutting off abusive phenomena with the budget devoted to drugs and redeeming materials, has also begun the process of examining the Essencial Bars List so that patients can access new and quality therapies and in line with better pharmaceutical practices.
The MSH promises to continue to prioritize the supply level, along with increased performance in pharmaceutical sector management, so that patients can be provided safe therapy and public money saves simultaneously.
