Citizens disgruntled with the work of Government and Parliament

Eugen Cakoli from KDI has stressed that the results of this survey show 74% of respondents think things in Kosovo are going in the wrong direction.
Under this research, Cakolli has said that citizens have also been asked about their satisfaction with the work of the Kosovo Assembly. Only 26% of respondents have been declared satisfied with the work of the Parliament, while 72% of them have declared dissatisfied.

53.5% of citizens have estimated MPs are not accountable to their voters at all, following receiving the mandate.
Only 19.1% of respondents have claimed to have had the opportunity to communicate with an MP/e since the last parliamentary elections”, Calcoli has completed.
He has said citizens have also been asked about their participation in parliamentary elections if the latter were held this Sunday.
“Mbi 70% respondents have claimed they would participate in the elections, about 20% that would not participate, while the rest have not been determined, or have refused to respond”, he stressed.
Based on the survey, unemployment remains the main problem most Kosovo citizens face and is counted at 61.3% of the cases. Then comes the lack of visa liberalisation (42.8%), the lack of rule of law (33.3%), the poor state in the health sector (28.9%), as well as the lack of quality education (19.6%).
Traffic safety is a new problem recorded by citizens, but has not previously been part of their concerns. With this issue, about 13% of citizens have been faced in the past six months.
