Burkina Faso's top state diplomat, Alpha Barry, has guaranteed the top diplomat of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, for the full and unreserved support of this state for our country's membership in international organisations, I NTERPOL and Francophony during an official meeting, both held in margins of the annual work of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

“Minister Barry, part of a new government, asked me for information on the performance of dialogue and guaranteed that Burkina Faso's support for Kosovo in international organisations, Francophony and Interpol would continue. I invited him to visit Kosovo, an invitation that was gladly accepted by my counterpart”, Pacolli said, praising it is impressive to sense the seriousness and honesty with which some African countries treat Kosovo, which during this last period have been under pressure, flattery, manipulations of Serbia to attract recognition of Kosovo.

I sincerely thanked Burkina Faso Foreign Minister Alpha Barry, who recognized us at a very important moment for Kosovo. Burkina Faso has not surrendered to pressure from Minister Daciq, who has long visited his country”, has been voiced by Minister Pacolli.
