Bekim Jashari meets KFOR: We stopped Vuchy because he didn't apologize.

Skyright municipality Chairman Bekim Jashari declared today that citizens have protested Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's visit to Baja, where the Serb community lives, because they have considered insulting this visit, prior to a plea for what Serbia has caused in the recent war in Kosovo.

He made these comments during a meeting with KFOR Commander General Salvatore Cuoci, with whom they have discussed recent developments in the Skyeraj municipality, following Sunday's protest against Serbian President Alexander Vuciq's visit to Banja, as well as general security in this municipality.

Mayor Jashari has said that despite the protest, citizens and participants have shown maturity and high citizenship, as all the protests have ended peacefully.

According to the head of the Skywright municipality, there is a lack of co-operation and co-ordination on the central level, which has no longer announced President Jashar's visit in question.

However, Skyeraj's chairman has assured KFOR commander that Sunday's protest has been against Serbia's president's visit to Skenderaj, which has suffered the most during the war, and in no way against local Serbs, as they are also represented in mechanisms and local organs.

The municipality's deputy chairman, Nuredin Lushtaku, has said that the credit for the peaceful protest and that it all went smoothly to Skyeraj Mayor Bekim Jashar, with his staff contributing to the preservation of public calm.

Even KFOR commander has recently praised Sunday's protest, and no problem.

The security aspect of the Scikyright municipality has also been discussed during the visit, where Chairman Jashari has said that, given official reports of organs dealing with security issues, the Skyeraj municipality continues to remain calm, even in the settlements where the Serb community lives.

KFOR Commander Salvatore Cuoci has also expressed interest in the aspect of the economic development of the Scikyright municipality, while Chairman Yasar has made clear his goals and plans to function economic development, citing Business Park, the Penda Project in Redica, whose implementation would provide water supply and water for 200 thousand residents.
