The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, has said the leadership of dialogue should take over a broad-based powerful government based on clear mandate from the Kosovo Assembly.
That, according to him, can only be achieved after free elections, which will produce a stable government.
“Dialog can only be guided by representative and legitimate institutions, which speak on behalf of the majority of Kosovo citizens. Dialogue cannot be led by a minority government, which is dictated in action by the will of small partners who keep him standing. The prime minister has no political power to lead this process, nor power to delegate this authority to anyone else. Clearly, he can only speak on behalf of his party, but not on behalf of the government, which has broken up in areas of interest. The guidance of dialogue must take over a powerful broad-based government based on clear mandate from the Kosovo Assembly. This can only be achieved after free elections, which will produce a stable government”, has written on Facebook.
Hoti has added that in the future government, led by the LDK, they will work however necessary with all political forces to reach consensus on dialogue, because this process does not belong only to one party or only to the government.
