The regulatory authority of electronic communications and postal communications (ARKEP) has postponed the final date of implementation of this code for five months, but with all of this, this institution says operators are facing difficulties in carrying out their obligations, Koha Ditore writes.
Initially, 1 June was set as the date when complete transfer to the new code should be completed, but in May the ARKEP had decided to postpone this target until 31 October, following the demands of two Kosovo operators, Telekom and IPKO.
Even after that, the head of the ARKEP Board, Kreshnik Gashi, has said such problems, operators are facing again, which question the fulfillment of obligations under specific terms. And if that happens, Gashi has said sanctions are put forward against operators.
