In an interview for KosovaPress, Confort shows that the Arber language continues to be spoken in Albanian families who moved to southern Italy after Skenderbeu's death five centuries ago.
According to her, the Arbeers have also borrowed numerous words from Italian, but by being in reverse from Albanian. As he adds that the architecture has not taken the words of the Albanian standard, making it appear another dialect. We've saved it very well. There are many lexics similar to those of Albanian today. Some words have remained old, and a union with a foreign country has changed the Arab language slightly. We've got the old words for example, maybe there's still dialects, but it's changed Albanian into cattle. We got him while he's home. And popular traditions have, they have fairy tales, they have songs, they have expressions and dresses, they dance every year. It's been preserved very well, it's been 500 years”, she stressed.
To help the Arab community in Italy, it shows that they have created several national funds through which they have organized courses to learn Albanian.

She says that other Arbeers also have an outstanding interest in learning and adopting Albanian.
In Italy, the law preserves minority minorities. We've had some national funds for this job, where we've made some courses at school, working in the municipality, dealing with language preservation and local traditions. Then funds were reduced, and courses are developed but not like 10 years ago. They're interested because my dad speaks Albanian, but he doesn't read and doesn't write, neither does Grandma. The alphabet is very different because the Italian alphabet has 21 letters, while the Albanian has 36”, the Albanian language researcher said.
Otherwise, 2003 for the Arbehesh Emilia Confort marks her first visit to Kosovo to attend the Albanian Language, Literature and Culture Semitary, which has helped them speak more fluently.
