According to reports by Italian media, Telegrafi conveys, the clash occurred between the two groups, and as a result five prisoners have been seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.
The moment the supervisory clash began, there was only one jailer who, after interfering to calm the situation, suffered injuries on his shoulder and was sent to medical leave.
Intervention of additional prison personnel has quieted the situation and prisoners have returned to their cells, without incident.
