At the Emergency Centre in Pristina, it has been reported that a roof of a house in the Kolovic neighbourhood has been removed from strong winds, while other cases are fallen wood, broken glass, and so on.

Besim Rama from the Emergency Centre in Pristina has confirmed this.

Dardania district, on “road Luan Haradinaj” and at the university campus in Pristina, lives have been endangered, as several trees have been toppled by the powerful wind.

The mayor of the Pristina municipality, Shpend Ahemti, has also reacted to this changing weather, which has begged citizens to stay in closed spaces.

Because of strong winds in Pristina, we urge citizens to stay in closed spaces as much and to be more careful while staying in open environments. Any emergency you call at 080012233 or 080012244<18x1>, Chairman Ahmeti wrote on the social network.

Meanwhile, expert Tahir Ahmeti has written that the strong winds that have begun today are set to continue the coming days in our country.

The strong winds that have begun today and are designed to continue the following days in our country, enter the category of natural disasters, and as such can be very dangerous and cause damage, starting with damage to houses and stamps, moving or throwing various objects, containers, removing trees, etc., damage to agricultural cultures, decorative trees, and, in the most recent cases, risking citizens' lives from blows, beatings, cables, and electrical pillars, such as falling from various heights. So responsible bodies, the Municipal Directorate for Emergency Management and Emergency Management Agency, must in time inform citizens of the caution added during these natural phenomena”, it wrote.
