Four years ago the University of Pristina placed 4,937 in this ranking, while this year the UPI moved up the 2,429 position.
Pristina University Rector “hasan Pristina”, Marjan Dema, sees this positive movement in the ranking of the Webometrics as a result of recent reforms in the institution.
“Although the UPI has a lot of work until it can be considered one of the best in the world, it is a pleasure to see this progress, which confirms our reform efforts in recent years,” he said.
An Important Reform of Which The UP is attributed to the rise in this rank to the development of the research system based mainly on public university practices in the United States, where a major contribution in this respect has been given by the Joint Development Programme of Burs and Partnerships USAID and Government of Kosovo.
