Seven activists arrested until writing slogans against violence against women
Kosovo police, disabled and failed to protect women from violence and murder, have arrested seven activists and activists last night after midnight while writing placards in Gjakova on the murder of women. The slogan women are violated, the sleeping police are indications of the devotion of institutions to its own citizens. Institutions sleep when they have to do their job, and they are alert to prevent justice - seeking activists.
The arrested activists are: Arlinda Gashi, Dauntless Krasniqi, Hasani Bridge, Kujtim Hasani, Ndtim Berberi and Gerolld Nikoliqi.
The slogans are also written in the Constitutional Court in Gjakova and we hold the entire justice system responsible for these murders. The state not only does nothing to prevent, but even after crime happens, it acts justly. We can't wait to see how women's names increase homicide lists. So today in Gjakova, we protest justice, life, violence, anti-movity, against discrimination.
