Thaci decrees for Serbian constitutional judge known as “mafosis of customs”

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has decreed as constitutional judge Radomir Laban, the person with an international warrant. His decree has been made in the package with the new members of the constitutional court, who have recently received the blessing of Kosovo's Parliament to become <x0-strong of the Constitution” Procrastination of decree [...]
Procrastination of the new judges' decree was caused precisely because of Laban, as he is wanted by Serbia for the suffering of a prison sentence due to customs abuses. Laban, otherwise known in Serbia as the “The customs mafia”. Activos has reported earlier that the president has requested report from the security and justice institutions for Laban's past, but the response he received from them has been that he has no trouble with the law in Kosovo. That's enough for President Thaci to decree him for constitutional judge.
When Serbian authorities had been searching for corruption in customs in 2006, Laban would hardly have believed that his career had not begun to collapse but was gaining momentum from that very moment. As an adult boy in Kosovo, with an almost perfect Albanian, he sée had trouble leaving Kraleva and finding “streed” in the country of origin. In January 2011, he started working at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo as a senior judicial adviser.
His commitment has confirmed the Constitutional Court, though it has not been issued in its past. “in 2011, along with the application formula for work at the Constitutional Court in Kosovo, Mr. Laban has delivered all required employment documents under law” at once, was the Court's response, when asked by Activress, if Laban's biography was verified before he was hired.
Thaci has said that the judges' decree has been made in support of the Constitution, the Law for President, the Law for the Constitutional Court and in accordance with the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament proposal. The ceremony of the new judges' swearing before President Thaci has been held today, attended by Constitutional Court Speaker Arta Rama. The judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Bajram Ljatifi, Safet Hoxha, Remzije Istrefiić Pecci, Radomir Leban and Nexmi Rexhepi, who have been sworn in before President Thaci, had previously passed all procedures in accordance with the legislation in force and their names were reviewed by the Special Commission for the selection of candidates for Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo judges, following the development of secret voting procedures held at the Parliamentary hearings.
During the secret vote process, Remzije Istrefi-Peci had received a total of 83 votes, Radomir Leban had received 71 votes, Nedimi Rexhepi had received 66 votes, Safet Hoxha had received 62 votes, and Bajatifi had received a total of 58 votes. The composition of the Constitutional Court, for the first time in its history, is now only with local judges. By the middle of May the Constitution was left in four judges. /Enables/
