Currently, Russian experts are preparing to recover one of the collapsed missiles, fearing the flow of a nuclear material into the Barents Sea, US intelligence sources for CNBC said.

The withdrawal operation will include three ships, one equipped to handle radioactive material.

Scientists are concerned that nuclear material from the missile could harm the ocean.

Hans Kristensen, director of the Nuclear Information Project in the Federation of American Scientists, told CNBC: It is clear that if a nuclear engine or energy source is launched, nuclear material will be completed wherever the rocket is completed”.
