Today at the “Jvdet Doda” high school in Pristina, summer school has opened through which the preparation of young people is intended for work.
This summer school will last two days and offer students four sessions to be held in parallel: Electronics, Musical Technology, Media Education and Intervention.
At the opening of this school was the Minister of Education, thankful to Bytyqi, who said these arrangements are also of great importance to the fact that they are voluntary and offer opportunities to exchange experiences.
He indicated that they are planning to organise such activities at the national level, in co-operation with the Ministry of Education in Albania.
“Since taking responsibility as minister, I have had a commitment together with Minister of Education, Lindita Nicolaus of Albania so that such arrangements can be made at the national level, so in all Albanian areas, so that our young people can have a kind of socialization between themselves and we are trying to make it a joint summer school, and I believe that my resignation and the determination of Minister Nikola will make it happen, Bytyqi said.
And the director of the USAID mission in Kosovo, Lisa Mango, thanked staff and school students for their hospitality and showed that this school is the first of a series of schools that U.S. AID organised for 2018. She told the students that they are Kosovo's future, and for that reason she will support it.
And because you are the future of Kosovo, USAID wants you to take advantage of the skills that will enable you to accomplish your goals in the future. As Minister Bytyqi mentioned, if you have the opportunity to see the time that will take place during these two days, you will find that there are many activities that will enable you to take practical knowledge by engaging in activities”, Mango said.
While programme director “Support Teens After Teaching Rule”, Valmira Haxalla, introduced the trainers who will hold the sessions, showed that this programme is supported by the Kosovo Education Centre (KEC).
Our “program is a five-year programme, we have four years left together, which I look forward to continuing our co-operation further. As noted, our programme is implemented by the Kosovo Educational Centre, and we have partnership with two other organisations”, Hadjaj said.
During summer school, there will be lectures, debates with field connoisseurs, documentary shows, etc. At the conclusion of the second day, participating students will be certified for the skills gained.
