The remains from the slaughter of Cubans in honour of the Kurban Bajram holiday have been left at the Great Mosque courtyard in Pristina, KTV reports.
This, according to citizens, becomes part of the ritual of cutting sacrifices, since their skins and remains are not allowed to be thrown into waste. The same gathering has taken place in other Kosovo cities.
Many citizens who have cut Cubans in honour of the Kurban Bajrami Festival have left their remains Wednesday at the Great Mosque courtyard in Pristina.
Residents around them have complained of smell, but Faik Hashan says it is the rule of Muslim religion that the skin and other remains of the Kurban are not thrown into the trash.
Other citizens say they do so as part of the ritual of cutting the Cuban. According to them, the Islamic Community, from the money collected from their sale, helps poor families.
But none of the Islamic Community officials have been able during the day to explain what the destination of these remains is and why their collection is taking place this way.
Meanwhile, the slaughter of offerings has also taken place this year in extremely serious hygienic conditions on the Pristina market.
