Scientists analysed the blood of respondents and found that people who were sitting more during the day had the highest level of unhealthy tropone, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
In the dangerous group are those who average more than nine hours a day and, with the exception of heart injury, the risk of developing the disease, such as diabetes, increases.
Especially disturbing is the fact that exercise does not help if you continue to sit down for more hours during the day.
It has been shown that the long - term decline can lead to a heart failure, a condition when the heart becomes too weak and cannot perform its sufficient blood pumping function in the rest of the body.
For now, it is not known why sitting is linked to heart failure, so additional research is necessary.
