Three separate, no communication with management in the north

The manager's task manager at the company, Miftar Hyseni, says the current situation in Trepca is not good and has a fall in production, while he does not expect any improvement soon. He during an interview for Kosova Prees, has made known the reasons for this situation, putting the lack of labour force first.

Hyseni has all blamed for the vague situation created in Trepca, saying that a more serious approach is needed by the government, management, trade unions, and all employees, in order to solve the problem and in the future Trepca to develop.

It shows how much of the mining genomics are in the north and how they have no collaboration with management in that section. According to him, they receive instructions from Belgrade.

According to him, with the creation of conditions for Trepca to be registered as a stock society, then with the acceptance of new workers, as well as an investment in new equipment, production would grow gradually and this company would be functional.

He explains that miners have grown older and say that falling production in the first place is due to a lack of labor power.

Hyseni explains that mining reserves are, workers' power has only to be employed on the market, while the prices of metals produced, according to him, have never been better in history.

This is to be done, he says he needs serious access to everyone.

As for co-operation between the Trepca management from the north and south, he said there have been contacts, exchange of equipment, retromaterials and similar, but not any concrete and literal co-operation until recently.

The manager's task officer has announced that this co-operation has now been interrupted, especially since the Council for Trepca's formation.

He added that in this new situation, which has recently been created in the company, the northern people have a completely different approach because they receive instructions from Belgrade.

Regarding recent speculations about a possible partition of Kosovo, Hyseni added that many parts of Trepca are in the north, including mines in Leposaviq and lead metallurgy, which consists of smelters and refinerys located in Zvecan.

According to him, the country's eventual division would be damaging to Kosovo and Trepca, until it said that about 20 percent of the mining geologic reserves would remain in that section, while the large reserves that make up 80 percent are in the southern part.

Otherwise, Trepca within Kosovo today consists of 41 different entities, which are grouped mainly into three large complexes, in the mines with flotillas, in the industrial park in Mitrovica and in the smelter complex.
