The head of the LDK parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, has indicated that today they have submitted the request for an extraordinary session of the Kosovo Parliament to express institutional stance against violating the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
Part of the demand for extraordinary sessions, besides the LDK, are Vetevendosje and PSD.
Hoti in a Facebook post writes that in view of the willingness of most parliamentary groups to support that stance, the resolution will be approved by over 80 votes.
According to him, there is no stronger political mechanism to express the will of Kosovo citizens, through Kosovo Assembly deputies, as citizens' elected.
No one should have the courage to take steps that contradict the will of the overwhelming majority of MPs in the Kosovo Assembly. The Kosovo Assembly resolution is binding on all. If one acts differently, then it conflicts with the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo and the constitutional and political consequences are known.
This resolution will send to our international friends, who have helped the state of Kosovo reach this point where it is now, the clear will of Kosovo's citizens that they are unwilling to negotiate the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, says Hoti.
