US: Say again, Republika Srpska, Kosovo are not the same case

There are no parallels between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. BiH has been a sovereign and internationally recognised state prior to the Dayton Agreement, they have said from the American Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Serbian television “N1”.

The United States and other states of the international community are fully committed to Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the embassy has said, stressing that Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH are the basic elements of Bosnia and Herzegovina's internal political organisation.

“Sic is well known, the Dayton Peace Accord and Bosnia and Herzegovina Constitution do not give any of the two entities the right to secede from BiH. The existence of these two entities is completely dependent on the existence of BiH”, the US Embassy in Bosnia has stressed.
