Republika Srpska abolishes Srebrenica reports

Republika Srpska's government at a separate session today abolished the Commission's report for Investigations in and around Srebrenica from July 10th to July 19th 1995, compiled in Banja Luka in June and October 15th 2004, and from the RS Government's completion of the 16th special session held on October 29, 2004, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
Also abolished have been the RS Government Working Group reports adopted on March 30th and September 30th 2005 to implement the conclusions of the Srebrenica Commission's final report with all proposals and completion of the RS Government by March 31st 2005.
“In order to review specific events in the Srebrenica and Srebrenica region during the 1992-1995 period, as well as to strengthen confidence and tolerance among peoples in BiH, final reconciliation and co-existence of present and future generations, the RS government forms an independent international commission which will objectively and impartially define the suffering of all peoples in the Srebrenica region in the 1992-1995 period. The commission's composition and tasks will be determined by the separate” decision, agreed today at the RS Government meeting.
In addition, the RS government decided to form an independent international commission to investigate and make a report on the sufferings of Serbs in Sarajevo between 1991 and 1995, whose composition and duties will be determined by a separate decision.
