They presented Aleksandar Vuciqi with the German stance on changing borders, which Chancellor Angela Merkel made clear.
“We think it is not good to draw new borders between Kosovo and Serbia. Germany's position is that the two sides should discuss and find solutions for normalising relations between Belgrade and Pristina, but that we will not change our position on borders”, German deputy Johann Wadeful has said, reports Serbian television “N1”, Coha.net.
While British Ambassador to Belgrade Denis Keefe, though days ago he said that all risks and prices should be taken into account on the issue of changing borders, he did not want to talk about the matter today.
We don't talk about this today. Thank you, but today we're talking IT projects”, Ambassador Keefe said.
In addition to meeting with the two German and British officials, Vucic has met today with the vice president of the Open Society Foundation Steering Board, Alexander Soros.
As said after the meeting, Soros has said that the Balkans need solutions to Kosovo's problem, while finding a compromise solution is also needed for civil society.
