Prosecutor Hoxha: Give me the veterans' class, I'll finish it.

One important subject is expected to be addressed by a bold Kosovo prosecutor. Elez Blakaj, who until a few days ago investigated this subject, surrendered. He even turned out to be a coward. He resigned after allegedly receiving threats. It's about the investigative record of the KLA fraud veterans.

But a former Blackaj colleague is being brave and is saying he would like to take the case into treatment.

Sylla Hoxha, special State Prosecutor on Wednesday, said he is willing to take the subject that has not been completed.

In addition, Prizren's former chief prosecutor says he does not know why his former colleague left office by resigning. “I don't know the reason for Blakaj's resignation”, Syla Hoxha replied to Gazeta Express, questioned on the issue.

On the other hand, the former special officer, who last week has resigned to the State Prosecutor's Office, has said in a clarification that the investigation of fraud veterans of war has concreteise him with an indictment that, according to him, is already in the drawer of special prosecutor Reshat Milaku.

Chief Prosecutor Milaku has reacted to him, denying Blakaj's claims. Millaku has said Blakaj has not filed charges in the veterans' case.

He also said that, the veterans' case, but also the other cases that prosecutor Blakaj has had, will be handed over to another prosecutor, but that it has not yet been appointed.

“Yes, normally he will get another prosecutor, but it has not yet been appointed”, Milaku said.

Elez Blakaj allegedly left the prosecution following threats that have taken his own line of work. Chief State Prosecutor Alexander Luemzi on the day the news came that Blakaj left the Special Prosecutor, announced that his former subordinate had been threatened at least twice. The first threat according to Lumez was when Blakaj was prosecuting Imam Shefqet Kransiqi, while the last one over time has investigated veterans' lists.

In both cases, Blakaj was offered close protection.
