Police attack in Moscow

One of the policemen was wounded in his leg and taken to the hospital. His colleagues responded to the shooting and injured the aggressor, later arresting him.

The attack took place unexpectedly, while the police group was committed to monitoring the area during the passage of a delegation.

The attacker was a 31-year-old from the Russian regions of the North Caucasus, but did not elaborate on his identity.

It is suspected of a terrorist act, since in the Northern Caucasus, where Muslim populations dominate, jihadist groups are active.
