Pacolli: Serbs, Albanians highly respected

Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli was quoted by the Serbian media as saying that churches in Kosovo are not only Serbs but also Albanian.

In an address to Vienna, Pacolli has said that for example, the church in Decani, there is evidence that it was built jointly by Serbs and Albanians, broadcast its statement.

He has said his family in the past was of Orthodox religious affiliations, adding that citizens should not be divided on the basis of their religious affiliation or origin.

“Since we have declared independence, there is no evidence that Albanians have committed any crime against Serbs, and this shows that Serbs and Albanians are respected among themselves. I live in Caglavica and I don't have any problems with Serbs”, Serbian media quoted his statement as saying. /Periscopi/
