MPJ does not observe Thaci's decree: Avni Spahiu continues for two months ambassador's mandate to Turkey (Document)

Five months have passed since Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, with whom the ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Turkey, Avni Spahiu, is relieved of office and his withdrawal from the diplomatic mission is required because of the end of the mandate. However, the president's decree has not yet been implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [...]
In this regard, Jetlir Zyberaj, Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli's adviser, has said that this decree will be implemented.
However, according to him, due to the significant process of Kosovo's membership in Interpol, in which the process has been closed, Ambassador Spahiu has continued his mandate for several weeks.
Zuberaj says within two months Ambassador Spahiu will complete the mandate at the Kosovo Embassy in Turkey.
“Yes, of course, that decree will be implemented. Ambassador Spahiu, he continues several weeks to stay in Turkey because of the significant process of membership in Interpol since he has been locked up in the process, but within two months he completes his mandate”, Zyberaj, Telegrafi, has told Zyberaj.
By contrast, according to the document provided by Telegrafi, the president's decree was issued in 03.03,2018.
“Avni Spahiu, Ambassador, head of the Kosovo Republic Diplomatic Mission in the Republic of Turkey is relieved of office due to the end of the mandate and is ordered to withdraw it from the diplomatic mission. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo is being charged to take all necessary actions to implement this decree. The decree comes into force in the date of the signing”, said in the document issued by the country's president, Hashim Thaci.
