Minister of Justice: The logic of the threats has set

Speaking of prosecutor Elez Blakaj's resignation, which is said to have come because of the threat, minister Tahiri has stressed that this issue remains to be clarified, and other organs are the ones that state whether there are threats.

In an interview for the New Age newspaper, he has said it is unacceptable that institutions that enforce the law be threatened by anyone.

The message that I have delivered and that I stand completely on is that no one is above the law and nobody will be needed and can't hope that the Republic of Kosovo and its institutions will succumb to pressure, threat or blackmail”, Tahiri said.

He added that rule and law mechanisms need even better co-ordination.
