Krasniqi has come up against Thaci's idea, thus supporting the PDK chairman.
He has said that the party's position over the question of dialogue has been expressed exactly by Chairman Kadri Wessel.
“Position The PDK on issues about dialogue is expressed exactly on the part of President Wessel, and we all support this stance of”, he has said.
We remember that the Prime Minister and the Chairman of The PDK, Kadri Veselini, has said there will be no partition of Kosovo, and that this will never be a topic at the negotiating table in the dialogue under way with Serbia in Brussels.
We're going to the talks. The debate that has risen is rather an electoral race and is not contributing our way towards integration. It's creating a fear of peace. Dialogue means security for our citizens, for generations to come. And at the same time we've never had better partners than the EU and our Kosovo nobody will violate”, Wessel said at a news conference.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has dismissed the idea of dividing the country under ethnic lines to resolve the dispute with Serbia.
Thaci said there will be no <x0nd division but correction of borders”, possibly including the Presevo Valley. He did not say whether this meant an exchange with northern Mitrovica, where most Kosovo Serbs live.
The president has voiced confidence that negotiations with Serbia, under EU leadership and closely observed by the United States, would soon result in bilateral recognition.
“If the correction of the Kosovo-Serbia border and a final agreement with mutual recognition are reached, if such an agreement is balanced and bilateral, it would be a favourable victory for both sides, where all would reconcile”, Thaci added.
Against division of territories and changing borders, the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, Initiative Leader Fatmir Limaj, and opposition parties have been declared.
