The Ministry for KSF today launched traditional humanitarian action for voluntary blood donation, with the motto “a drop of blood for saving a life of”, for the needs of the National Kosovo Blood Transfusion Centre.
“The events, as always, have been answered today by a considerable number of blood donors. In the first two hours alone, the number of donors had reached 24, which is projected to increase, given the ranks of members waiting to pass the normal procedures offered by the medical teams”, the KSF media report said.
Like all shares in blood donation, this is also organised in full co-ordination of the Kosovo Department of Medicine and Department for Civil-military Co-operation with the National Blood Transfusion Centre. The act for voluntary blood donation, launched today at the ministry, will continue at all Kosovo Security Force barracks until 11 September.
