The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Nundman Rama, expresses surprise at the large number of KLA veterans, while even acknowledging that he and the other members of the Commission for recognition and verification of the status of witnesses of the nation, invalid, veteran and KLA members have not done the job properly.
In audio-incision that prosecutor Elez Blakaj had used in the indictment, it said the commander admitted that the work was not being carried out properly and that they are acting outside the legal base.
Mr. Gumman Rama is surprised by the numbers presented to veteran and also suggests they are acting without legal grounds... Rama at 1:40 seconds states who's proving to us that we're doing the job properly”, says the indictment.
For all these figures Rama said they had no chance to be real. He said if there were 60 thousand veterans there had never been any need for KFOR to intervene in Kosovo.
<x0...17 thousand people in an area have never existed or 60 thousand veterans... then KFOR-i” was needed, said the indictment issued by Koha Ditore.
Charged in this case by the retired prosecutor Blakaj are: Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitaj, Shumbin Demaliyaaj, Kele Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudreaj, Xhavit Jashar.
According to prosecutor Blakaj, 38m of 882 thousand and 400 euros per year cost the state budget 19.060 <x0veterians false”.
The Elez Blakaj Act claims that a new brigade was invented by the accused to justify the KLA's false veterans.
Also, the indictment reveals how the former commander of KLA Agim Ceku instructed commission members to lie about veterans.
