Kamberi: All Presevo Valley must join Kosovo if agreement is made

Bujanoc Mayor Shaip Kamberi has said that if an agreement is reached between Kosovo and Serbia in exchange for territories, then Kosovo should take the entire Presevo Valley and not just Presevo.

Our stance is that there is no fragmentation, it is not the option that only Preseva joins the Republic of Kosovo. If the exchange of territories is put into question in the Brussels dialogue, then the entire Presevo Valley should be included”, Kamberi told reporters prior to a meeting with the Co-ordinating Group for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

The idea of exchange of territories has not found any support in the Republic of Kosovo, even Prime Minister Haradinaj has said such a thing is a call for war.

Unlike today, Trump adviser John Bolton has said the US is not entitled to intervene in internal issues between Kosovo and Serbia, citing the idea of border movement as well.
