Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has said today that he has sent a letter to Kosovo Prosecutorial Council through which he has given support for continuing investigations into veterans' lists.
He points out that this is a duty to citizens to learn the truth.
Our constitutional concerns and our institutional efforts are more oriented than ever in empowering the rule of law, so this issue is not only legal duty, but also duty to the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who await the dawning of truth. Wessel has written that the case of the lists is the case that subjects the treatment of a phenomenon that unjustly runs over the budget of our taxpayers and, above all, violates the values of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war.

Therefore, I appreciate that the effective solution to this case is necessary, so that any abuser with our taxpayers' budget and any abuser with the sacred values of the war for freedom of the country is brought to justice.
Any money of our taxpayers that has been spent on behalf of misuse of the status of war veterans should be restored to Kosovo's budget, and this cannot be done otherwise except with a fully transparent and determined process of justice”, he added.
