Izetbegovic: Kosovo cannot be linked to Republika Srpska status

Bosniak presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic said there are no arguments under which the issue of resolving Kosovo's status could be linked to Republika Srpska's status. There are no legal, no historical, no moral arguments to which resolving Serbia-Kosovo relations can connect with Bosnia and its Republika Srpska entity. [...]
There are no legal, no historical, no moral arguments to which resolving Serbia-Kosovo relations can connect with Bosnia and its Republika Srpska entity. The status of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its entities has been resolved by the Dayton Peace Accords,” he said of the Bosnian Serial portal.
The thesis under which Kosovo's defeat must compensate with Serbia's connection to Republika Srpska, according to Izetbegovic, is present for a long time, but has now intensified as a result of talks on the final resolution of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
And this story has two dimensions, two limits. One is short-term to intimidate the international community of a new destabilisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans, and thus get a more favourable solution for Serbia on the Kosovo issue”, Izetbegovic has said.
The second, according to him, is long-term to reinforce theis that Serbs after the loss of Krajina and Kosovo, should take something in compensation, and wait for favourable historical circumstances for this to be accomplished in the weakening of the European Union and NATO, returning Serbia to Russia.
