Iran hit by a powerful earthquake

A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Western Iran on Monday, Reuters suggested. The quake centre was near the city of Ezchele.

The shock also felt in Kermanshah, the largest city in the area.

There are no reports of death or injuries, said province governor Kermanshah, according to state media.

Still no details of the damage.

An earthquake of 7.3 magnitudes that hit the west of Iran last month killed at least 530 people and injured thousands more.
