Iceman sentenced to death in Thailand

A Malaysian drug dealer named “Iceman” was sentenced to death today by a court in Thailand for running a narcotics network that made big profits in legitimate businesses. Thun Hung Seong was arrested in April last year for smuggling about 300kg of known crystals [...]

Thun Hung Seong was arrested in April last year for smuggling about 300 kilograms of crystals known as a meth crystal because of which he even got the nickname “Iceman”.

Investigators believe he acted as a guard in the Malaysian drug market and has laundered the money through bars, hotels and restaurants.

The Bangkok court sentenced Thun, 65, on charges of drug trafficking along with two Thai women and a Taiwanese.

All four have been sentenced to death.
