Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has remembered Kofi Annan, who died today at the age of 80.
He says Annan was one of the most famous diplomats who contributed to world peace, particularly Kosovo's cause for freedom.
“Today the world has lost one of the most famous diplomats who for years contributed to world peace and conflict resolution, Kofi Annan. The Nobel Prize winner played a major role in our cause for freedom, supporting NATO bombings and then the rebuilding of Kosovo. We will always remember, the man our cause for freedom and independence gave due support to”, Haradinaj wrote.
