He during a meeting with Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Christian Heldt spoke about the implementation of the agreement for co-finance of innovative projects between MIN and GIZ, as well as the functioning of Prizren's Investment and Training Park.
Minister Beqaj thanked Germany's Government for its continued support for Kosovo, in particular for its readiness to co-operate with the Ministry of Innovation and Intervention in supporting innovative, vital projects for the Kosovo economy.
“German is the largest financial donor in post-war Kosovo. We are maintaining this trend of co-operation and are aiming to increase it with Ambassador Heldt in increasing private sector capacities in Kosovo. We will come to work with a joint agenda for future successes”, Beqaj said.
He also stressed the importance of supporting the private sector for sustainable economic development and the digitalisation of the country's economy in step with global economic trends, in which the German state is making significant contributions.
