The following week's Monday has started pale in Kosovo. The day was burdened with several statements concerning the idea of changing/reforming borders -- an idea promoted by President Hashim Thaci, who is not rejected either by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.

The week starts to shine with Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement, which states Germany opposes changing borders in the Balkans.

The first “is the territorial integrity of all Western Balkan states. This is a sacred thing, and we have to do this all the time, because there's always an effort to discuss borders. We can't do this”, Chancellor Merkel said according to the “American Office”, the Periscope broadcast.

Following Merkel's statement, Thaci and Vuciq would not react immediately. Several hours passed, and Thaci comes with an ironic statement in response to Merkel's statement, where the president mentions the message that the EU states that have not recognised Kosovo must obey, to do so according to the borders Kosovo has. Vuciq, on the other hand, did not coincide with Merkel's statement, but said he understands that the entire Western world recognises Kosovo as an independent state, therefore, understands Germany as well.

The highly controversial event that characterised the week is also the resignation of Special Prosecutor Elez Blakaj's prosecutor.

In 24 hours and more, there would be widespread reactions regarding his resignation. Someone says it was because of threats since former Prosecutor Blakaj was investigating fraudulent veterans and several cases of terrorism.

A letter of prosecutor Blakaj's resignation was to be published, where he gives the reasons for his resignation, except that he would engage and continue his career and contribution in and abroad.

A day after all discussions concerning Blakaj's resignation, Koha Ditore on Friday (day), published the indictment that prosecutor Blakaj had filed.

19 thousand false veterans who cost Kosovo's 38m-euro budget are the balance of investigations drawn from the Blakaj indictment. And an idea like in movies: according to the indictment, suspects had invented a brigade called éHasan Pristina who was founded in 2016 and operated on Drenica. Which is, cheating veterans fought in Drenica a couple of years ago.

Renowned post-war names are part of the indictment, including Agim Cecu, current KSF Minister Rrusem Berisha, Nurredin Lushtaku, Faik Fazliu, Xhavit Jashari, Shumbin Demaliaj and others.

Some of them, in statements to Periscope, have denied the indictment. Nuredin Lushtaku called it a dirty policy game until even Xhavit Jashari said no one informed him that it was part of the indictment.

Friday ended with the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act against former PTK Directors Ejup Qerimi, Agron Mustafa and RexJonbalaj, for criminal work “misusing office or official authority”./Periscopi/
