Erdogan is not afraid: We heard the game, we're challenging you.

The two main rating agencies -- Moody and Standard & Poor -- lowered estimates for the Turkish economy, influenced by the country's currency instability, Lira.

The immediate reaction of Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan, who said Turkey is determined to challenge all “s that are doing this ugly economic game”.

“Today some people are trying to threaten us through the economy, through interest rates, currency exchanges, investments and inflation. I have a message for them: we have seen your games and we are challenging”, Erdogan said at his ruling AK Party congress, writes Tch.

Turkish liras is experiencing a deep crisis and continuing decline, while US-Turkey tensions have had the main impact on the situation. Just yesterday, the lira lost 3% of its value again, as a result of a Turkish court's decision not to release American pastor Andrew Brunson.
