The Kosovar Company for Distribution and Electricity Supply, KEDS has completed a broad investment in the village of Livoq Equipment of the Gjilan municipality
The investment in this village, located at the entrance of this municipality, included the deployment of 78 concrete pillars for low tension and 23 middle tension pillars.
The establishment of concrete pillars is designed to replace the wooden poles, which in many cases are outdated and damaged, and as such present danger to random passersby.
And so, KEDS has established a new 400kVa-powered traphoid, and has become the construction of a network of low tension nearly five kilometers long, and a medium-size network of over a mile long.
Viktor Buzhala, ECDS spokesman, says the company is continuing to switch electricity to all regions of the country.
This investment will greatly improve the energy situation for this part. So there will be energy stability, net losses will be reduced, and it is understood that replacing wooden pillars with concrete provides security for citizens, since past pillars have been outdated,” he says.
Weeks ago, KEDS has completed a similar investment in the village of Uglare in Gjilan, where some 1,200 houses on this side had benefited. In addition to the village of Uglare, this project had improved the supply of electricity to surrounding villages, as a portion of the Anamorawa region is supplied by the Uglaan remote.
But, according to Buzhala, investments in this municipality will continue in the future.
“across the country KEDS daily is committed to improving the power grid. We have already completed a number of projects in Gjilan, and we will continue in the future,” says Buzhala
