The dismissal of the police commander and police officers in Gjakova is required through it.
This protest is a continuation of the protest held during yesterday's day in the town of Gjakova, where it marched in search of justice for the last two victims of domestic violence, allegedly a 40-year-old woman, along with her 9-year-old daughter, have been killed by her husband.
On the social Facebook network, the call for protest was published by non-government organisation “The Justice and Equality Initiative” INJECT.

Stop the structural and social institutional violence against women, the poor, the worst groups in society! We demand correct justice, not selection! We have to go out to the citizens to ask for the dismissal of the police commander and the negligent cops in Gjave, because the institutions aren't doing it. Our daughters' lives count! Every citizen's life counts! That's what those cops must understand!
This protest is held as a continuation of the Gjave protest! I hope that other cities will also protest neglect and noncalculation of our institutions!
The protest is held in the square “Zahir Pajaziti” by 12:00.
