It was a privilege to work as the principal director for reference over the past eight years, and I am proud of the results I have achieved with my colleagues. I want to thank you UEFA and powerful support in recent years, as well as all judges in their” commitment, Collin said in a farewell message Wednesday.
President UEFA, Alexander Ceferin, has accepted the Italian's resignation.
Italy's 58-year-old, 2010, appointed first director U n EFA for reference, five years after being excluded from the division of justice in football matches.
It will be followed by Roberto Rosset, also from Italy, who was an international football judge from 2002 to 2010.
