The ghetto doctor, lawyer from Pristina, has launched a petition to the top leaders of the European Union, where it expresses opposition to fragmentation, exchange of territories and division in ethnic lines.
This petition in Albanian and English requires Serbia to recognise Kosovo and warns President Hashim Thaci has no legal authority to negotiate with Serbia.

The letter says Kosovo's own independence is the compromise between Albanians and Serbs. It recalls that Serbia has invaded Kosovo five times over 150 years, and requires Belgrade to recognise the Kosovo state to prevent future conflicts.
In the end, the petition will be sent to senior EU officials, including senior representative Federica Moghrini and EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn.
