Officials of the Kosovo Basketball Federation have claimed that the “tat time is in constant contact with the Federation of Bosnia, authorities there, even FBK officials are standing in Skopje and keeping in touch with the BiH Embassy there, but, so far, visas have not been issued for our delegation”.
The Institute also finds out that it is the state's own foreign minister, Nenad Crnadak, who is refusing to provide Kosovars with visas, for the championship that starts tomorrow.
Unofficially it is reported that the BiH Foreign Ministry has demanded that Kosovo be represented without a anthem and no flag, something FIBA has rejected, while in a statement for Bosnian media, Mirsad Djonagic, the headship of the Federation there and FIBA Europe has confirmed that all legal requirements for the Kosovo delegation's visa equipment have been met.
Djnagic also said that this is the “first class scandal and the letter he sent us FIB knows we're being punished, we just don't know what the sentence will be.”.
It is in the first match of this championship that Kosovo will face Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the match is set to take place tomorrow at 18:45.
