Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, where he recognises Kosovo's progress on the road to visa liberalisation, confirming that he has already asked the European Parliament and the Council to adopt the European Commission's proposal to abolish the visa regime for Kosovo citizens.
On 19 July, the Commission confirmed that Kosovo has fulfilled all the pre-priced criteria for visa liberalisation. Kosovo has noted great progress in the past two years, and it is important that reform implementation continues.
I have already invited the European Parliament and the Council to adopt the European Commission's proposal to abolish the visa regime for Kosovo citizens”, Avramoopoulos wrote in his letter to Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj.
In the end, Avramoopoulos has assured Hoxhaj of his full support for Kosovo.
