Although the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) had planned that schools that work with a switch from September to begin with whole-day learning, this plan has failed.
This, after August has failed to find financial means for these schools to equip them with sufficient learning spaces, relaxing areas for students, food and dining arrangements, Koha Ditore writes today.
Currently there are 71 primary and 13 high school schools in Kosovo, which work with a framework. Meanwhile, another 5 are under construction, and after functioning, they will work with a framework.
Adviser in August, Valmir Gashi, has indicated that schools working with a building lack conditions to apply daily learning.
These schools, according to him, need investment in administrative infrastructure to start applying this lesson.
In November of Last Year August had released a report through which it had revealed that 142 new school objects, 85 annexes and 218 sports halls are needed to carry out whole-day instruction across Kosovo. The value of all these investments, according to August, is 371m euros.
