People who swim on the surface in the deep waters beyond Marsa Alam reef are vulnerable to attack, authorities warn.
A Czech tourist died after being attacked by a shark swimming in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt.
She died 12 miles north of Marsa Alam city as the result of an attack by a shark”, said town council chairman General Aif Wagdy.
Local media reported that human remains were found on a beach near Marsa Alam.
General Wildy said that people swimming on the surface in deep waters across corals are vulnerable to attack.
The last shark attack killed a German tourist off the coast of the Red Sea of Egypt in 2015.
