”Ukrainian” Lane” may be a threat to several Hawai islands this week, CPHC reported at the information edition of the 5 o'clock local (15:00 GMT), urging the Archipelags to monitor closely the speed of the hurricane movement.
If the current forecast of the trajectory is confirmed, an alert to tropical storms or hurricanes could be set Monday evening for Hawaii regions.
”Lane” is advancing at a speed of 22 miles per hour, with winds up to 205 km per hour average, designed to last until Tuesday morning. On Monday morning, the hurricane lay about a thousand miles [1 thousand km] from Hilo, a city on the east coast of the main island of the Archipelago.
