The news has confirmed Ecuador's emergency services.
Within the bus of the country's police were Venezuelans.
The biggest number of dead people are Colombians, it's a very complicated accident and we're collecting information”, said Quito's security secretary, Juan Zapata, writes Reuters, accompanying Klan Kosova.
The accident took place on Pifo-Papalacta Street, considered one of Ecuador's most dangerous. Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the accident, however, have indicated that the bus hit a truck and then turned around.
Equador roads are very dangerous, and bus accidents are often due to high speed and mechanical bus failure.
