Wessel's invitation gives an answer to Obadiah: It's improvised, LDK doesn't go.

Wessel has proposed that the first meeting be held tomorrow at 10:00 in the Kosovo Assembly.

But at this meeting, only ruling coalition parties and not opposition parties will apparently attend.

Time.net has contacted LDK deputy Lumir Abdixhiku, who has said this meeting called is simply improvised and that the LDK will not go.

“The LDK has already made its position on the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue clear. We consider that Kosovo institutions have lost their legitimacy to address this issue of national interest. So we seek new elections before dialogue. We cannot accept the current situation where the government abstains from its constitutional obligation to lead with dialogue, and on the other hand, the president exceeds his constitutional competencies and imposes himself on this dialogue. So we only accept new elections and no further improvisement. This meeting is just improvised. The tables of the internal political spectrum are already exhausted and no longer make sense to”, Abdixhiku said.

On the other hand, LDK deputy Hadzi Avdyli has said Kadri Veselin along with Hashim Thaci in 2017, without warning calling the country in elections and sending the LDK into opposition, breaking all written and unwritten agreements.

“They wanted LDK in opposition, so leave it The LDK plays its opposition role. We're not their service, when you need us in case, to turn into voting machines. The portal has also tried to contact VV and PSD deputies to learn whether they will agree to go to this meeting, but there is no answer.

However, we remember that calls for an internal political consensus and compromise about this phase of dialogue, the opposition's political spectrum has consistently responded negatively.

Meanwhile, the meeting, called by Wessel for Monday, will be closed and each political subject will be represented under the 1+1 format.

Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which is mediated by the European Union and supported by the United States, aims at normalising relations between the two countries, mutual recognition, as well as ensuring Kosovo's seat in the United Nations Organisation.

The Kosovo political show, all together, position and opposition, should be consolidated and prepared.

The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will have the main role of oversight and decision-making in this important process.

The next meeting between Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbian Aleksandar Vuciq will be held in Brussels early September.
