Thaci has said that meeting the last condition for visa liberalisation -- which was the success of crime and corruption at high levels -- shows that Kosovo should not stop in its work in confirming the fulfillment of this condition.
He has recalled that until the fulfilment of visa liberalisation, a few months remain, and says yesterday's EC recommendation is an additional responsibility for Kosovo.
Full word:
After the meeting we have held days in Brussels, but also steps that have been taken for the Kosovo dialogue process.
Even today, I met all the representatives of the justice system, the justice minister, the interior minister, to commend them for their work, but at the same time to seek the continuation of their work in the fight against corruption and organised crime.
The EU assessment, that we have met this condition, shows that we have been working on meeting reforms.
Visa liberalisation is a non-stop process.
This decision will pass through the European Parliament and member states. It is up to us to contribute to the acceleration of this process.
All should be proud of their contribution to the process.
This process is in the best interests of all.
Now until the issue of the final visa liberalisation decision has remained a few months, and all will have the opportunity to move in line with established standards.
Making the decision yesterday is an additional responsibility for domestic institutions, so that no one can abuse in this process.
We will inform you correctly about the visa liberalisation conditions.
Everything is clear, Kosovo is moving with concrete steps towards the EU. This is the Kosovo vision.
We know this decision has been a little late. We know the hardships We have faced, and We created them.
